Re: Asp.net 2.0 Web Event 1309. Log Warning

It wouldn’t surprise me if there are maintenance scripts that run to keep everything in check. As soon as I get the go ahead with the higher up I will get a support ticket and hopefully this will be resolved. I will post back what I find out.

Re: Asp.net 2.0 Web Event 1309. Log Warning

It would be interesting to know if it is some kind of cleanup function failing or if it is a script or page not loading correctly. I was also thinking it could have something to do with Sql Server. It seems in my log files right before this Asp.net warning takes place Sql Server logs an info file th...

Re: Each product needs a different content section in layout?

OK. I have found a way to fix this. I needed to have the display page for my first product be different than the second one. So for each custom page I do I will need a new display page. There is Basic page "Product.aspx", Basic Page 2 "Product2.aspx". Product with option grid "Product3.aspx" and Sto...

Each product needs a different content section in layout?

I have up to this point been working with one product. I am now adding several others and I am running into a bit of a snag. For my first product I created a custom content section and all works well. The custom content page has hard coded product specific information because i was unable to add asp...

Re: Webmail Broken? AbleCommerce configuration error?

This sounds like the right direction I just need to find the web.config file for the mail app which I have not seen yet to see if I can merge anything. I'll post back my results.

Thanks Joe,

Re: Webmail Broken? AbleCommerce configuration error?

Judy, I was thinking about your post and I checked to see if the webmail was .dll. It is but not in the ablecommerce folder. But I realized that the permissions for the webmail are different than the ablecommerce site. Maybe I need to add the permissions from the webmail virtual site to the ablecomm...

Re: Webmail Broken? AbleCommerce configuration error?

Well not sure if that will help in this case because the webmail is a virtual server inside the ablecommerce folder. In the mailenable control panel I installed the webmail into the default site on iis. That would be my ablecommerce site. I believe the error is about the service not being registered...

Re: Ajax Collapsible panel within product description?

I would suggest getting the free visual web developer 2008 http://www.microsoft.com/express/vwd this will allow you to see and use the asp.net Ajax toolkit with the WYSIWYG. Dreamweaver is awesome and I have used it for years but to get your hands dirty in a complex web application like Able Commerc...

Re: Ajax Collapsible panel within product description?

Rusackson,

To avoid confusion about the tool bar I mentioned in my previous post I was assuming that you are using Visual Studio to develop your site? If not you will have to add the reference to the .dll by hand before you can compile and view the controls without errors.

Re: Ajax Collapsible panel within product description?

Rusackson, I switched over to using the asp.net Ajax controls. The .dll is in the bin file of your install of Able Commerce. Just add it to your tool panel and use the controls like you would any other. There is lots of info on how to use the asp.net Ajax toolkit @ http://www.asp.net/ajax The Spry f...

Re: SQL Server 2005 Express on different server?

We will have an ssl certificate and will not store card info on our server but on the Pay Junction Server. That’s what the SSL will protect the communication between our server and Pay Junction.

I am wondering if we are required to be complaint or only if we want to be certified?

Re: Access to the path 'c:\inetpub\wwwroot\App_Themes\Glass_Whit

Well, I went in to the graphic that was having the problem and added modify to the permissions for both asp.net and network services. This seemed to fix the problem in this case.

Is Modify a permission I should have for the entire root folder for both asp.net and network services?

Thanks

Re: Access to the path 'c:\inetpub\wwwroot\App_Themes\Glass_Whit

Windows 2003 service pack 2 Standard Edition. I did have the graphics open at some point but I tried it with all IDE's off after reboot and still same error. I am going to go in with a fresh brain this morning and check all permissions to see if I can figure this out.

Re: Ajax Collapsible panel within product description?

Ok guys I have tried the plain old JavaScript with css way. It works but it runs into errors when it interacts with the rest of the page. So this won’t work too much debugging involved. Joe I like your idea of modifying the .ascx file for the product description this will allow me to use the Asp.net...
