Re: Maintenance Routine Runs Over and Over Again
Of course it runs over and over again... I concerned with the frequency. Let me rephrase - the routine is not adhering to the 360 maintenance interval which I understand to be a "minute" unit of measure. So correct me if I am wrong but wouldn't that mean that this maintenance routine should only kic...

Maintenance Routine Runs Too Often
I am running PLATFORM: ASP.NET, VERSION: 7.0.0, BUILD: 11659 My maintenance routine runs excessively often - see below log - is there a patch or is there something I can do to limit how often this runs? It also seems to expire the same 5 expired merchant accounts over and over again. My ablecommerce...

Re: issues with upgrade to v7 SR1a
The upgrade file in "My Account" brings me to build 8272 not 9879.
I think I need a different upgrade file.

Re: Where do i download the beta RC3 to v7 upgrade file
I will experiment with some stuff to see if i cant get this to work - may have to go back to just running plain v7 final with no SP3 if you guys have no idea what this is.

Re: Where do i download the beta RC3 to v7 upgrade file
FYI the CommonSiteMapProvider.cs is in app_code folder NOT app_data. Anyways, using WinMerge I know that the file in my test site and the one provided in the ac7_upgrade_b8272 upgrade are identical. There was no CommonSiteMapProvider.cs file in the Cumulative SP3 patch. For fun I downloaded ALL patc...

Re: Where do i download the beta RC3 to v7 upgrade file
The only thing in the app_data folder of the cumulative SP3 upgrade is a VersionInfo.xml which contains the following: <VersionInfo> <Platform>ASP.NET</Platform> <Version>7.0.0</Version> <BuildNumber>11659</BuildNumber> <BuildDate>2/9/2009</BuildDate> </VersionInfo> There was no CommonSiteMapProvide...

Do you mean... take the App_Data/CommonSiteMapProvider.cs file from the upgrade and overlay what was included in the the SP3 patch?

Re: Where do i download the beta RC3 to v7 upgrade file
FYI - Before I did any upgrade at all, the version of commercebuilder.dll was 7.0.8831.0. I believe this means I was on RC2 I had in "my account" an upgrade to 7.x file file which I downloaded. The file name was "ac7_upgrade_b8272.zip" I applied this upgrade - once I did the commercebuilder.dll was ...

Where do i download the beta RC3 to v7 upgrade file
I apologize - surely this question has been asked but I searched and did not readily find the answer. I have a site running RC3, my customer wants to start using the data port and I would like to upgrade their site to 7.0 Final then point them in the direction of the universal data port. Where do I ...

Re: What Is the Target Virtual Memory Usage Requirement For Able
OK so using this memoryviewer app I successfully convinced my ISP to eliminate the virtual memory limit. A more accurate limitation would be actual memory allocation by the application which is also an app pool option. Using that yard stick it would seem that, at under 100 MB of allocated memory, th...

Re: What Is the Target Virtual Memory Usage Requirement For Able
Logan - I have VERY similar results to yours. The virtual memory value on XP is around 320MB to start, on Win2003 it is around 520MB to start... just running this simple memory page.
This is very interesting. Something to stump my ISP on for sure

Re: What Is the Target Virtual Memory Usage Requirement For Able
I did mention my problem is on a HOSTED platform - I don't have alot of control on the server. And unless I am going insane (which there is a high probability of), or I don't understand something (again, something that happens frequently) the version of the memory viewer you posted is what I posted ...

Re: What Is the Target Virtual Memory Usage Requirement For Able
OK... so no answers huh? I have put together a little memory viewer you can all play around with if you want. But first... to CMA.... USE AT YOUR OWN RISK - REVIEW THE CODE BEFORE YOU EXECUTE IT! Re: What Is the Target Virtual Memory Usage Requirement For Able
Thanks for the payment gateway dll tip - I will see what type of impact that has. IIS is measuring Virtual Memory - that is what they, my ISP, sets my limit by for app pool recycling purposes so that is what I care about. I am still interested to know what Able says is your normal footprint for the ...

Re: What Is the Target Virtual Memory Usage Requirement For Able
According to my ISP my application pool for this site is already set at 1 Worker Process. Also - I would like to know what the rule of thumb virtual memory requirement for Able is so I know what I am shooting for. My current memory usage of 630MB seems ridiculous - either I am doing something very B...

Re: What Is the Target Virtual Memory Usage Requirement For Able
There is an issue with multiple processes? Or are you saying if you have 4 processes running able will load up 4 times or in my instance 630MB / 4 or 158MB per instance?

What Is the Target Virtual Memory Usage Requirement For Able
I am running Able V7.1 Using the following code to pull the current process virtual memory usage into a variable I can log/display: Process p = Process.GetCurrentProcess(); MemUsage.Text = (p.VirtualMemorySize64 / 1024 / 1024).ToString(); I am consistently seeing 630MB or so? My ISP gives me a virtu...

Re: Serious Problem with Maintenance Routines
OK that is good news... sorry about the confusion. But why do I still see stuff like this where the maintenance routines fire up three time like this in a very short time frame? I've set the Maintenance interval to 24 hours (1440) but it is firing all the time anyways. INFO 2009-07-21 05:29:53,880 5...

Serious Problem with Maintenance Routines
See below - I am experiencing some serious issues with the maintenance routines on my site. The number of milliseconds required to process this stuff gets worse and worse as time goes on....
