Mazhar, One other thing I noticed : we recently imported a 50MB export file from a 5.5 store with over 1400 categories and 15000 products. Everything went fine... except quite a few categories were not put in the right place as a sub-category. Rather they all ended up in the root. Checked the origin...

Thanks Mazhar... guess it was easier in 5.5 to select a list of users and then an email template and send a mail out.

I looked and could not find a way to do a couple of things in 7.0 : 1. Meantime, Naveed - can you clarify: you are saying I won't be able to export AC 5.5 products that have options/variants and import them into AC 7.0 store using dataport? So, the steps would be to import the products using Dataport and then manually import the Option...

I checked the Wiki page but it doesn't seem to contain any info on how the Options / Variants have to be setup for import... can you point me to where the layout in the excel or CSV is described? Thanks again for watching this forum...

Hi Naveed, Yes... did that and the browser still returns what I posted - does'nt prompt for user/pwd or any other 401 error. Dataport still gives the same 401 error. BTW, i am able to connect with the new .31 dataport to a regular store that we have on our servers... just localhost seems like a prob...

I got that error on Benard's site as well as other sites - whenever I filter to a particular category. If I don't filter, it exports fine.

We are using the latest (0.19) from the download link on the first page of this thread.

If I choose ALL Products on Step 1 then the export works fine... so sounds like a bug on the filtering of products.
