Re: Authorize Test successful, but capture failed (Linkpoint)

Yes, it appears to be a limitation of test mode. Running a real transaction through worked fine. I will also note (for the next guy trying to figure this out) that I first attempted a "live" transaction with the famous test Visa number "4111-1111-1111-1111", but that was not authorized. (Which I gue...

Re: Authorize Test successful, but capture failed [more+bump]

Since no one has responded on this item, I thought perhaps my experience was just a fluke. So I tried a couple more. For records where the authorization was successful, the payment capture once again is not successful. Again, the error was "FAILED SGS-020009: An order ID is required for this transac...

Authorize Test successful, but capture failed (Linkpoint)

Thanks to Katie I was able to get the Linkpoint gateway working (or so it seems). I've been running some more tests to make sure I clearly understand the workflow. All my initial authorize tests worked as I expected - successful when it was set "Test Mode (Approval)" and not successful when it was s...

Re: Getting Linkpoint set-up successfully

I am so HAPPY to report that mine is also working! For me, I went back to the original file I downloaded from First Data/Linkpoint, and also fixed the permissions which also weren't set to inherit. So it sounds like in both cases it was simply that we weren't following the information in the help fi...

Re: Getting Linkpoint set-up successfully

Thank you Katie - I'll be interested in learning how it goes for you, and any insights you can give me for getting this to work! I've also contacted First Data, although so far I have not received a response. Based on your email, I have a couple of questions: You mentioned saving the PEM file using ...

Re: Getting Linkpoint set-up successfully

Well that would be very disappointing since I recommended this product to my customer precisely because it was supposed to work with Linkpoint! We are in the process of contacting First Data (formerly LinkPoint) to try the updated PEM route. Hopefully we'll have better luck than VIPER7. I'll update ...

Re: Getting Linkpoint set-up successfully

Okay - just so I am clear...

My current PEM file has line breaks at the 65 character for each line. To reformat, I need to remove all those line breaks at the 65 character, and instead add them at the 66 character. Is that right?

Fingers crossed!

Getting Linkpoint set-up successfully

We're having trouble getting the payment gateway Linkpoint setup properly. The error we get is: Unable to load certificate ERRs: wsa=33558530 err=33558530 ssl=537317504 sys=33558530.
