Blank Customer Emails after upgrade to 7.0.4
Hi, I upgraded from 7.0.1 to AbleCommerce 7.0.4 build 13424 a while ago (following all the instructions I beleive), am sure I did a test order fine at the time and generally things look fine - have now got a customer order which mailed out to them but the content was blank! The password reset...

Re: Importing/updating products - PRODUCTID Field.
Thanks kastnerd, yes can also confirm now, new ProductIDs are created (from records without ProductId) in a batch including existing ones. Had a chance to test out more. The most important thing (to avoid having to delete and recreate all products each time) is: If you do include the ProductID, will...

Re: Overiding with the ConLib Custom folder doesn't seem to work
Right, phew, glad we sorted that out. Thanks for your help, Phil.
NB: Hope this can be implemented in upgrade mazhar, it would save a lot of fannying around as the underlying idea and method in Scriptlets is an excellent one (ie. auto override)

Re: Overiding with the ConLib Custom folder doesn't seem to work
Thanks but your edit above has an answer (ie. use conLib\Custom) but the point is - see your thread "Customizing display pages" and Joe's reply (would've posted there but its a longer thread and this is a specific problem): 4. You copy a "built-in" user control into ~/ConLib/Custom and make sure the...

Re: Overiding with the ConLib Custom folder doesn't seem to work
Yes, that's what I said, I am editing the ConLib\Custom .ascx file but it doesn't make any difference! Have you definately left an original filename.ascx Control the same but changed the ConLib\Custom filename.ascx with same name, which then overrides it? Because it doesn't seem to override on mine....

Re: Question about shopping bar 1 sidebar
Good idea, cheers Judy! A bit more customisation but I guess just removing the image will do fine, will prob give that a go! Phil.

Overiding with the ConLib Custom folder doesn't seem to work
There's some good posts about customising pages but I'm having a problem with one assumption - the ConLib\Custom allows new .ascx controls (and their .cs) so they can be referenced fine as [[ConLib:Custom\<filename>]]. This is similar to the Scriplets method. However, like the Scriptlets, it is anti...

Re: Question about shopping bar 1 sidebar
One more useful thing, scanning the apsx show that eg. [[ConLib:RecentlyViewed MaxItems="3"]] can be used to control the list further

Re: Question about shopping bar 1 sidebar
Good one Erwin (and Joe for raising it), don't know if that [[ConLib:MiniBasket AlternateControl=""]] worked then, but it does nicely now - for anyone else like me desperate to get rid of the huge line of products in the sidebar!

Re: Importing/updating products - PRODUCTID Field.
This is indeed somewhat frustrating, because otherwise the Dataport is just the ticket! I note there was a Poll on Smurfs similar thread, and folk are saying its critical! The biggest and most fundamental problem I see is that to avoid duplicating everything on new uploads, you have to keep removing...

Re: How do I add a top level page?
This is excellent, can create a new page with this, assign new custom scriptlet contents to it, then link to it manually, all works fine. :D Next question is how to create a link to it in the menu... a search on the CSS class="navigation" reveals C:\blahblah\App_Data\Scriptlets\Default\Header\Checko...

Re: New installation - Invalid object name 'ac_Stores'
Cheers Joe! Can't see any way to mark a thread as resolved or closed so will leave it, although that must make it awkward for hardcore 'resolvers' to check open posts as opposed to active. I appreciate it's not a guaranteed answer forum though - still, certainly better than most, will be working tho...

Re: New installation - Invalid object name 'ac_Stores'
Thanks guys! Yep, all prereqs loaded. It took me through the process, but I forgot about the /install bit, so that was the missing link, good one, will reread installation ;-) ! Good advice, best to reinstall, as it got unstuck. Have got NETWORK SERVICE granted access to SQL and physical directory t...

New installation - Invalid object name 'ac_Stores'
Hi, checking out the software on standard Win2003 local dev machine - have got a 30 licence key (otherwise localhost:81 etc expires immediately), got over the unspecific API error from no ConnectionString, still no connection allowed (SQL Login yellow screen failure shown) so created a (full, not ex...
