On your admin dashboard, the link to the error log shows up in the My Alerts section. Unbelievable, I've just found an issue! In admin error log there was an error "Error sending email with subject 'Confirmation - Order Number 9'". My SMTP was setupped in wrong way. I fixed that and timeouts disape...

I've just tried to use 1-page checkout on my dev server and the result is the same. It shows Processing and then request timeouts.
