Looks like the install didn't copy the templates to the app_data\emailtemplates\1\ directory for some reason. I copied from the install folder and that fixed it. Thanks for your help.

One last question, the email templates don't have any body text. Should they or does the site come without any pre-defined templates?

That will work for company, first name, and last name. What about the tax id field, is there any extension fields defined that I can use?

I did find that page and check everything, doesn't sound like I need full trust for email templates. I also uploaded and ran the TestPermissions.aspx and everything passed. Require additonal fields for new customer signup.
Is there a way to require additional fields for new customer signups? We need to require, First, Last, Company, and Tax Id.
What would be involved in a change like this?
