I figured out the problem. Basically the encryption.config file has to have nothing in it except the encryption tag. I had just copied over the existing store so the existing encryption.config file was being used. Once I copied over the encryption.config from the install folder the restore worked.

No problem. I actually finally figured it out. It was plesk causing an issue. The post here: http://forum.parallels.com/showthread.php?t=95091 helped solve it.

Thanks. That's the problem I'm having as well since I can't find any good error information. I don't have anything else on the server this is on. Would you be able to look if I sent you the remote desktop login?

Also nothing shows in the windows event log. I am running in classic, not integrated.

Has anyone successfully been able to run version 7.0 on IIS 7.5? Is it even possible to make it work? I've tried to do it here: http://184.168.103.198/ but just get a generic internal server 500 error and nothing shows in the server logs or anything so at a loss as to how to troubleshoot the problem...
