Re: What happens to the URL when you edit the Category Name?
Thanks for the reply. Yeah, I think you are right. I just tried one that I had corrected a typo. The "Safety" was originally typed wrong as "Saefty" http://www.contractors-solutions.net/QC2-Alloy-Saefty-Toe-Work-Boots-P762.aspx http://www.contractors-solutions.net/QC2-Alloy-Safety-Toe-Work-Boots-P76...

What happens to the URL when you edit the Category Name?
What happens to the URL when you edit the category or product name? Or more specifically, how does it affect SEO? Does Google see it as another page? Will it be a duplicate page? Is the original deleted from Google index? I need to know because I found a misspelling or two. Also, I am doing SEO and ...

Re: What happens when a product or category name is edited?
Won't the original url be "wiped" from the index after a while and solve the problem of duplicate content?
I see that Mazhar's comment says invalid. Does that mean you changed your mind?

What happens when a product or category name is edited?
I was wondering what happens when a product or category name is edited or changed. I see that the URL changes. Does this mean that a brand new page is created and the original page is "lost"? Will the search engines have to find the "new" page and index it and we start all over from scratch? I am ju...

Re: Buy $xx of products X, Y or get X product free
I tried that, but I couldn't get it to work. Probably because I don't know how to find the product ID in the Product table. I don't think this is going to work anyway, because I need the offer to apply to: 1.) the purchase of one or more of a group of qualifying products, not simply one line item or...

I would like to offer if a customer purchases $150 of work clothes, (but not any other products) than they get a free item, say a flashlight or something. Re: Multiple packages
Just to add my 2 cents. I have products that ship in several boxes. One product ships in three sperate boxes, all from the same warehouse and to the same shipping address. It would be nice if I could enter #of boxes, weight and size of each in the product admin. I would have much better shipping est...

Re: Shipping rate differences
I am looking at Yellow freight. One of my suppliers uses them regularly and I checked out their web site. They have an API for integrating into your own web site. I am in the process of upgrading to AC7, and now I need to learn how to implement that. Does anybody know where I should start? Any help ...
