Re: RC3 Upgrades and Questions

Thanks Logan,

We got Guest Checkout working. We next want to edit what it says and add Order Notes.

I now understand that having one of the Options show up in the box is not part of AC but we will try to use Judy's code to make the first color choice show up in the box.

Don :)

Are the changes made on the OnePageCheckout.aspx file or somewhere else?

Re: Making all product options + add to cart visible by default

Hello Logan, I thought this was going to be in RC3 to show a default? Yet I looked all over the Dashboard in the Options settings and could not find anyplace to set the Default Option or Variant. Looking at the date of your above post, it was before RC3 came out. So to make a default color show up, ...

Re: Checkout without Logging in

Hi Mary,

Are you at liberty to tell me one of the URLs? My designer wants to see it. She tried following Mikes instructions above, but nothing changed. We are on RC3.

Thanks, Don :)

Re: Checkout without Logging in

Has any site gotten this Anonymous checkout to work? Is the control somewhere in the Dashboard or do we need to go into the Database to edit it? If someone has it working, can you tell us a URL to look at? Can we edit the copy of what it says? Don :) ****************************************** Hello ...

Hi Bob, No I havent signed in - I am waiting to find out if I need my own email with UserName and Password. From what you and Logan say, it looks to me like the link gives the correct build but is just mislabeled as 9374 instead of 9381. We want to do the install once but not twice - we have a lot o...

Hi Logan This is where the post from Mike at the top of this thread goes to: If you follow Mikes link it says RC 3 is 9374. It looks like Bobs post says that you replaced 9374 with 9381 in the FTP even though the instructions on this link still say 9374. My question is -> do I need to get an Upgrade...

Hi Bob, I was concerned about getting the correct build number when I did this that I just went to the Home Page and signed in for chat. But I am still confused, after your intall you said your code says build 8839 but your earlier post said 9381 and the FTP Link on the Forum says 9374. The Link Say...

Thanks,

I got this from AC on CHAT telling me to just go to the FTP Site and use the User and Password = subxxx and AbleCommxxx

Will this work? Or do I need my own?

Does that seem right?

Thanks, Don

Hi Bob, For some reason I did not get an email upgrade - I only see RC3 from what is on the FTP site - links from this forum. Hi Bob and Mike, Does that mean that 9381 build is really the more current version of RC3? or are you saying that 9374 build is a typo ( as mentioned in the links you provide?) I guess I am asking if we follow the link you provided, is that the correct RC3 version to use ( even though it says 9374)....

Hi This seems like a natural thing to do. I will try to figure it out. I was hoping that someone ( AC? ) could just point us to the file and then we could edit it and upload it. The only editing I could find was to change the Shipping Warehouse address - that is where your company name is drawn from...

Combining Packing Slip with Coupons with Return Form

Hi Is there a way to edit the AC default Packing Slip so that you can send a Coupon Promotion as part of the Packing Sip and put it inside the box we ship? We also would like to add in our phone number. Where do you go to do this? We would like to customize a complete new AC Packing Slip form with R...

Pulling Data Off Dashboard to .CSV File/Spreadsheet

Is there an option to pull data off the dashboard and export it into a csv document or spreadsheet? Specifically maybe the Sales reports(sales by customers)/orders/contacts and or users?

Hi Everyone, Joe is providing valuable beta testing service for AC7 and RC3 and for all of us AC 7 users. I believe that is why he has RC3 ( so that he can help analyze it and use it in a real live setting and provide managed feedback to the AC people). I suspect that AC is working on fixing some of...

Page Not Found 404 Error Server Error when Deleting Products

Hi Everyone, Has anyone else seen that product pages that are deleted are not being handled properly as a 404 Page Not Found Error? If you delete a product from your site (or change the title of that product), and then try to go to that old URL, you will get this ominous error page: http://www.going...

Hi Will, Thanks for the info. We did it kinda the opposite. We put up the new site on a different URL ( without test transactions ) and tested it all the best we could while the old site stayed up. Yes - I am curious about this too. I know AC is jamming to get the next release but we find the restrictions for URLs and DEV and TESTING ( 1 URL per license ) to be quite difficult to use. Actually, we have not even figured out how to run a real parallel NON PRODUCTION DEV web site that is live on ...

Hi, We export the AC Site Map to our desktop, then add in any custom pages we make to the list, and then upload it all to Google. I think that Google is reading and indexing all the pages as well as the URL - and each page is different - so not duplicate even though URL is same - so they will all be indexed. Froogle is now been phased over to Google Product or Shopping. To load products and use it, you need to use Google Base to access it as Judy said.
