It's looking a lot better now as far as speed. I added an item to the cart then I was lost figuring out how to checkout. My gut instinct is to go to the top right of the page (header) to find a link to checkout. I ended up adding the same item to the cart again, then found the checkout on the left s...

It looks like a very nice and "elegant" site in the making. My only suggestion is to brew up some of your own buttons such as the buy now, add to cart, etc. Although the default AC buttons are nice, that just shows me who really goes the extra mile with their store! Beautiful job and with AC, your b...

Looks pretty good, but I really suggest you take a hard look at readability: 1) The entire menu left side needs a color overhaul. It's not a high-contrast setup you have, hard to read, a little painful on the eyes. Maybe a dark yellow header with black font? 2) Fonts overall need work. Your product ...

I think the site looks pretty good. Basic, but balanced. I didn't have a problem with the yellow background, although slightly with the red font for the price. What I suggest experimenting with is your style sheet and particular the fonts. I suggest a Verdana font series and then work with the weigh...

Congrats on using AbleCommerce! I suggest posting your request for review in the "Critique My Site" forum below, a more appropriate location. It looks like a basic "out of the box" site to be honest. I don't particularly care for the boxes down the left/right columns protruding outside the frame of ...

Hi Mark, Well...umm...don't take this wrong, but it's pretty basic "out of the box" AbleCommerce. Sure, it will work to get you a store up and running, but not much as far as personalized character for your business. Some of your specials boxes have a blue border (like a hyperlinked image without it...

Looking for your opinions.... As shown in a prior post, I implemented an AJAX multiple image system. However, what I had before was simply images in the description at the bottom in a "Screen Shots" section, as I do here: http://secure.nc-software.com/Logbook-Pro-Software-P67C1.aspx I have mixed fee...

Just added an AJAX implementation for multiple images courtesy of ComponentArt's outstanding WEB.UI v3: Just beginning to populate images across the store, but here's an example: http://secure.nc-software.com/Full-Size-Carry-Model-Leather-Binder-P70C16.aspx and another: http://secure.nc-software.com...

I implemented this last night, I use the custom fields to save the image info, then check for it in code and add a table below the image with javascript onClick code. Not hard to do at all. You just have to know a little VB to iterate the custom fields, and I believe there is sample code on this for...

Re: Have a look ...
Almost finished my new site, checkout isn't finished and a few other small things, but 99% is done. Take a look at:- http://207.176.137.84/index.aspx Also http://207.176.137.84/RBK-8K-Helmet-P4146C0.aspx which shows off the multiple product images that the site can display. Any comments welcome. AbleNet does use the NBP, NCP, etc. querystring params. I've been uploading new builds a little often this morning doing some tweaks, as well as turned on the trace listener to "listen" to a few things I'm troubleshooting. You may have gotten caught in the middle of that, not sure. Yeah, I struggled...

One other thing worth mentioning, which may not be readily noticeable. SEO: Quite a bit of effort went into SEO, using custom fields, you can view the page source and see keywords and the description added to the meta tags. Also you'll see extensive use of ALT and TITLE tags. For example, hover your...
