Is this still really not possible? Maybe I have it setup wrong? Activation email is linked to when a serial key is assigned do I have to have serial keys enabled? Does having serial keys enabled still cause multiple emails per digital good?

Any Ideas? I've had to deactivate all of our re-seller discounts and our volume discounts to allow for our Christmas promo coupon code.

Yes yes excluding I agree is the way to go. If it was possible to exclude groups from coupons AND from volume discounts it would be perfect.
