Re: Fixed Redirects
I was curious about this as well. I tried creating a static .aspx file with a 301 redirect in order to maintain SEO goodness for one of our category pages, however AC7 seems to ignore files that exist on disk when processing rewrites. Was thinking the Fixed Redirects might be a potential solution. I...

Tokenized Payment Providers
Are there any iframe/tokenized payment providers in AC Gold, or are all the providers the old AIM-style (CC data flows through the store's web server before being passed to the payment gateway)? We really want to simplify PCI compliance.

Re: Gold 10 / Bootstrap questions
FYI - Microsoft found the Web Essentials add-on to be important enough that they allow it for Visual Studio Express 2013 for Web. It has built-in LESS-compiler and CSS/JavaScript minification and bundling tools.

Re: DataPort 7.7 issues
Thank you both for your feedback. Product custom fields did indeed port over as Product Templates. Other custom fields that we created did not. I was able to manually back-port them with some custom SQL. Was a little tricky when Ids changed, but we managed! So glad to finally have our last store off...

DataPort 7.7 issues
Going from AC5.5 to AC7 and most of the data ported well, but I noticed the following things and was hoping someone could tell me if this is the expected behavior: Orders do not maintain their OrderId, despite checking the first option to use the original ids. The Categories, Products, Webpages, and...

Re: Authorize.Net Direct Post Method (DPM)
Thanks for your feedback. One question:
Doesn't the same hold true if you are passing the UserId? As far as I know, anonymous users are created the same as baskets.BasketId isn't ideal for your DPM order numbers since the number gap will be substantial due to anonymous user traffic.

Re: Authorize.Net Direct Post Method (DPM)
So, I was able to get a dummy Direct Post Method form to work, but now the question is how to tie it in to the AbleCommerce order process? The problem is that I need to pass an Invoice/Order Number along with the DPM values so that I can tie it back to an order in the system. I thought about getting...

Selling on Amazon?
We are looking into selling some of the products from our catalog on Amazon. Pretty sure we are not the first to try to accomplish this. Has anyone created/integrated a process for sending product feeds to Amazon and loading Amazon orders into AbleCommerce? If so, are you willing to share some of th...

Re: Authorize.Net Direct Post Method (DPM)
We are also interested in knowing this. Based on all of the information I've looked at: Standard Payment Gateway = SAQ D PayPal Checkout = SAQ A Direct Post Method = SAQ A-EP SAQ D compliance is nearly impossible for most small to mid-sized businesses to achieve. Only 11% of all merchants who qualif...

Re: How can I force multiple shipments?
As suggested by rmaweb, we've utilized multiple warehouses on AC7 when we needed items to ship seperately/calculate a separate shipping fee. I would assume that is still how it works in Gold.

PCI Certified?
Is AbleCommerce still PCI-DSS Certified? The Overview and Product pages say it is but I can't find it on the list of Validated Payment Applications on the PCI Standards website . Banned IP query run several times?
I was just running a SQL Profiler to see what queries were being executed on the Category page. I was surprised to see the following executed 20+ times: SELECT COUNT(*) AS RangeCount FROM ac_BannedIPs WHERE StoreId = @storeId AND IPRangeStart <= @ipNumber AND IPRangeEnd >= @ipNumber I can understand...

Allows invalid card type on payment?
It was brought to my attention today that it doesn't appear to matter what the customer selects for a Card Type during checkout. We had a customer select MasterCard, then proceed to enter an American Express credit card number. The payment went through fine, but then when we go to payment details it...

Re: PayPal Express on AC7?
Ok, we finally got it working for the most part. Need to style up /Checkout/Shipmethod.aspx and /Checkout/Payment.aspx, and it appears that the shipping address is being returned as the billing address as well, but I think I saw a post in my searching that said there was a hotfix for that.

Re: PayPal Express on AC7?
Okay, so there must be something wrong with the Sandbox Mode. When I turned that off, I no longer received the SSL/TLS error. However, I noticed when I ended up at PayPal that the total at the top of the page was $39.99. I haven't gone any further, but how does PayPal know what the shipping total is...

How do you set up PayPal Express on AC 7.0.7? I see two options available in the gateway: PayPal and PayPal Payflow Pro. My understanding is that there should be a 3rd option, PayPal Express.

Why don't Transactions port over?
So, I managed to get my export/import to work, but I noticed that none of the payment transaction data is transferred. Is this an oversight? Security issue?
If the transaction data doesn't port we have to make a list of all open transactions and capture/handle them manually.
