I guess what I really want to know... Is the a way to develop a site in FF and have it show on the screen the same when viewed in IE6, 7, 8. The shots below show that the graphics and text placement suffer in IE6.
Anyone else seeing this with their sites?
These are all 1:1....

IE6 emulator?
For now, I'm using the ootb GlassMidnight template. It looks awful in IE6 compared to FF3. Text, images are blown to a slightly larger size causing layout problems, etc.....
Is there a CSS fix (emulator) to get IE6/7 visitors to see the site the way it's supposed to look?

So it sounds like "no longer than required to complete the transaction" is the rule here.

Re: On product page, possible to get the original image back?
In my case, getting the original img back is just a want, not a need. I'm very happy that Able has the ability to do rows and columns of swatches, in different sizes ootb. It would be cool to see the option swatch 400x400 at the main image area for just 3 seconds or so as you mouse over it or select...

Re: On product page, possible to get the original image back?
Well, I'm willing to bet that there aren't many people who use this feature, and those that do haven't seen the need to get the original img back.
The answer is no. That's OK with me. It isn't a huge thing, it'd just be nice to have someday....

Re: Showing the credit card number
This is something that it appears is needed but Able just keeps saying its not allowed. That is incorrect. The CVV is not required by the vast majority of processors and many carts allow you to turn off this requirement. Compliance is a moving target so most carts just find it easier to hide this n...

Re: Option swatch default selection
As long as we're discussing this... (switching to drop-downs for a moment..) Being able to assign (or to not assign) a null choice AND a default choice are best. Null: Make color choice here: (non-selectable but visible at page open) Default: White Drop-down looks like: Make color choice here: (null...

Breadcrumbs in lower case, why?
Just wondering why go to the trouble to change capitalized category names to lower case in the breadcrumbs?
'Home, Category' becomes 'home, category'.

Judi,
I don't Google feed but on another ecommerce's forum, someone suggested hiding products specifically for Google feed.
An "A" set for retail and a "B" set of products for the Goog. Esp for choice-heavy products. Don'tknow the particulars....

Kit as stated or...
Set the product's cost at $0.00 and place the prices entirely in the choices.
Choice #1: Product alone
Choice #2: Product plus stuff

Re: Can't get variant price change to 'stick'
Mazhar, I hadn't checked that til now, but the price being added is the correct amount, $165.00 vs the incorrect $195.00. It's just the display that's wrong. The math in the cart is right. I see the drop-down for selecting either Modify or Override. There are more that 1,400,000 variants. This isn't...

Browser compatability IE6/7/8, FF, etc. Test your sites.
I'm working on a new Able site. Just about done with the heavy lifting, getting on to loading products. I've been building in FF3 with the help of one of Able's approved developers. I just tested my site in IE6 and IE7. Holy Cow.... what a mess. Just for the heck of it, I opened 40 Able sites offere...

Can't get variant price change to 'stick'
See below. I've tried 'save', 'save & close', then saving on the Product Details page. I CANNOT get the price to change from $195.00 to $165.00. It's not my browser cache, it shows wrong on a fresh computer. This product is a copy of a master and it's stuck there also as well as on 2 more similar pr...

Not readily apparent... How does one re-name the home page (and other pages) to "My site name"?

We get variants as drop-downs and swatches, but not radio buttons? Correct?

Uploading images creates 3 images. Large, thumbnail, icon... where is the icon sized image used?
I'm going into the "blizzard of image uploads" phase. I'd just as soon get the sizes right up front.
Thanks.

In general, when the scriplet and CSS don't match, which wins???mazhar wrote: Most of styles are defined in css files so in order to change some font, background color etc you may also need to change your theme's css file as well.

Stumped - Swatch option name font, color
I've found just about everything else... just can't find this. I'd like to change the color and beef it up a bit.
So... is it in a CSS or ?
Thanks in advance.
