This is not in AC Gold? Then it's likely you have some kind of data access dll that has been compiled in debug mode and are using. You might be able to track down which dll by seeing what sql statements are being logged- whether it's all AC sql or just for a particular custom component.

We have done it by creating a new datasource and using that instead of what is in the source code.

I don't remember how far back this was changed, but in R12 you can checkout repeatedly as a guest and use the same email address.

I might have done it in the past by putting the $ in front of the price in the html and replacing the LSCurrencyFormat with {0:F2} but I don't remember where or if that is exactly what I did.

What I was suggesting was to take the itemprop="price" out of the span tag and add a meta tag with the correct info.

Unless I am not understanding:
You can go to the email template and turn off the order/shipment shipped trigger, but that would be for all time. If you only want it temporarily, you could turn it off, mark those orders as shipped, and turn it back on.

Have you handled any data outside the pages? See if you have leading or trailing spaces.

They would get created whenever anyone or a search engine access one page in your website, logged in or not. For example, someone going to your home page or even your login page.

I'm not sure what would happen, but you can experiment. The code that gets the next order number is in AC source code and I don't know if it looks in the order table in addition to getting the next order number from the setting for the next number or not.
