I'll double check this on my setup but if this were the culprit then ALL payments made via PayPal would experience the same problem, no? This doesn't explain why only SOME of the PayPal payments aren't reflecting the correct status.

So should I have Auto Return set to OFF for my 7.0.3 store?

Just FYI, after following Mazhar's steps in his post above, correctly setting all of the PayPal settings, I'm still getting orders with the wrong status (showing as Authorization Pending when in fact the payment has been Completed).

Mazhar, Thanks for the step-by-step. I don't know if this will fix the problem but I'm hopeful. Items 2-4 were not configured correctly in my PayPal account. I've fixed that and will see if I get anymore incorrect status orders. I typically only receive a couple a week so I'll have to wait and see. ...

I'll have to check my error log the next time I get one of these. I don't have any way of knowing which orders had a problem after I update the payment status so I can't go back and look on previous orders.

Recent progress on the search issue has been made, according to this bug report, however, to my knowledge a new patch has not yet been released. I'm hoping that'll happen very soon. Perhaps someone from AbleCommerce can update us?

What page are you viewing to get what you've described? I can quickly locate the css class for you if I know what page the problem appears on. If you could send me the URL of the page where I can see the problem myself that would make it very simple to remedy.

Yeah, unfortunately the bug report (8170) for this issue shows that it's "RESOLVED" even though the problem still exists on Search.aspx in 7.0.3

If AbleCommerce doesn't fix this bug soon would any of the developers out there be able to offer a fix? I'm willing to pay a reasonable fee for your time.
