Web 2 Market is hiring a Sales Engineer!

Web 2 Market is an AbleCommerce Premier Partner who is looking to add an additional sales engineer/sales rep to our staff. We are located in Alsip, IL 60803 a southwest suburb of Chicago, but will consider non-local applicants. We exclusively customize AbleCommerce online shopping carts, as well as host the sites we develop. We are a growing company and this will be a new addition to staff. This is a regular full time position complete with benefits. Contractors/agencies do not apply!!!!!!
We are looking for a programmer already proficient in .NET programming that knows some AbleCommerce 7.0. This position will not require cold calling. If you are bored with coding, want a challenge, or a change of pace then read on.
Required experience:
2+ years programming in .NET environment
1 – 2 years Web Storefront experience
Must be personable, outgoing, an excellent communicator, be detail orientated and have outstanding follow through skills.
Beneficial experience:
AbleCommerce Software knowledge using .NET
Daily tasks will typically involve:
- developing and growing long-term relationships with customers;
- managing and interpreting customer requirements;
- speaking with clients to understand, anticipate and meet their needs;
- persuading clients that AbleCommerce best satisfies their needs in terms of quality, price and delivery;
- calculating client quotations;
- negotiating tender and contract terms to meet both client and company needs;
- negotiating and closing sales by agreeing to terms and conditions;
- offering after-sales support services;
- administering client accounts;
- preparing reports for management;
- meeting regular sales targets;
- recording and maintaining client contact data;
- coordinating sales projects;
- making technical presentations and demonstrating how a product meets client needs;
- providing pre-sales technical assistance and product education;
- liaising with other members of the sales team and other technical experts;
- solving client problems;
- helping in the design of AbleCommerce customizations;
- preparing detailed project specifications, agreed to by the client, that developers can work from;
Salary base is $40-$50K to start, with bonuses based on production and meeting sales goals. For the right person the salary can be negotiated.
