They look really nice. The only thing I'd change is to add a "$" before your prices (in the currencies option, set a $ as the prefix). But otherwise it looks pretty slick.

I am trying to do a similar layout for my categories.
How did you make the subcategory link a picture with text rather than just text in a menu.

for example when you click on aerodynamics pictures of further subcategories appear in the center.

We custom coded an image thumbnailer into the pages. This auto thumbs the pictures of the products.

We also wrote a feature to look for category images in a sub folder based on the category name. Basically, if catname.jpg exists then output picture.
