surfing the site in firefox and everything appeared properly

Post by Shopping Cart Admin » Wed Oct 06, 2004 10:37 pm

Hello,

Looking good, seems all images have image width and height which is good, I was surfing the site in firefox and everything appeared properly formatted.

For SEO reasons change the linked company image in the header from:
'http://www.cpapc.com/index.aspx?SID=5&' to
'http://www.cpapc.com/'

The store id is set in the /includes/storeid.aspx file so it isn't needed on store URL's.

Code: Select all

<% Dim intStoreID as integer = 1 %>
A few of the pages push out wider that 1024 screen width, certainly due to the Category Tabs. You can drop the all caps (which would reduce the width), drop the font size or break the tabs earlier 5 tabs wide vs 6 for example.

A lot of items are heavy, item message could be converted to.

'Special Shipping or Handling Instructions for this item'. Let the customer know why the line item messaging is turned on and how it can be used.

Missing Items:

Standard Terms and conditions, privacy policy, Shipping policies would be important for a store with heavy items.

It looks to be a terrrific store foundation and most of the typical mistakes don't appear.. broken images, images without width and height, too many products in a category or too few. Looks like the branding work is ready to begin, store logo, and matching company colors for the store.
Thanks for your support

Mouse over links such as for Next and Previous Categories when viewing products disappear as the hover color is the same as the backcolor (light blue'ish).
