Pay Pal Express Checkout

Post by DonAshby » Wed Nov 14, 2007 8:01 pm

Hi

Is there a way to do PayPal Express Checkout?
Pay Pal says AC supports PayFlow but not Express.

If not, is it coming later?

Thanks
Don :)

:? AbleCommerce was one of the first to pass through their certification process for PayPal Express.

Both AC5.5 and AC7.0 support PayPal Express Checkout out of the box.

Pay Pal Express

I though so.

I see PayPal PayFlow Pro & PayPal in the dashboard configuration. Which do we use for regular PayPal if they are our gateway? And which do we use for PayPal Express - it looks like Express is a custom in the ConLib that would need to be configured - is that right?

Thanks, Don :)

PS. I called PayPal and they do not have Able Commerce on their list for Express - also you are not on their web site for Express either. But you are listed for PayPal PayFlow.

Just configure the"PayPal" gateway. Once that is done, the express checkout logo will appear in your mini basket sidebar.

I don't know why they don't have us listed. We are listed under the Website Payments Pro providers, and they have a prerequisite that if you support Pro, you must support express. Go figure...

Also their spelling is incorrect, which I asked them to fix ages ago.

Logan

PayPal Express

Pay Pal said I had to register thru the PayPal Pay Flow part of the Dashboard - so I did and it seems to work for basic Credit Card. Does this configuration support the PayPal Express too? Why do you have both options in the dashboard? How are they different?

Thanks, Don :?:
