Dashboard Order Status totals use wrong date

Post by AbleMods » Sat Dec 01, 2007 12:25 pm

Orders placed yesterday but shipped today do not get counted into the column for today's shipped orders.

I had two orders from yesterday and one from today. After shipping all three successfully, the system only shows one shipped order today and two more than it should for last 30 days.

It appears to be looking solely at the order date. For a total of todays shipped orders, it must look at the ship date.

I tried a Refresh Data thinking it was a cache issue, but the numbers remain incorrect.

Hmm.... I see your point. The order summary control is splitting them out based on order status, and grouping by order date.

We could make a new control to give you the kind of data you want, but the search page would need to be updated to accomodate it. I will log this so we don't forget to investigate.
Cheers,
Logan

Sounds good. I saw why it was happening, but I think it'll lead to some confusion.

Logan it took me 3 weeks to figure out the "Product Popularity" and "Sales over Time" graphics are actually dollars, not quantity. Perhaps a slight change to the tab title would be helpful.

For a while there I thought I was kickin' butt, then I checked the paypal account :(
