sign in button on merchant page doesn't work

Post by brian.sutherland » Thu Dec 06, 2007 10:40 am

Pretty simple, I just installed it, and after the install completes, it dumps you to the Merchant Login page, I punch in the info, but the Sign In button doesn't seem to do anything. The other links work, but not the button. Any ideas on this?

Strange!
I cant seem to imagine any good reason for this. Sign In button is just supposed to post back the request.
Which browser are you using? JavaScript enabled or disabled?

IE7, and I'll have to check, but I'm pretty certain JS is on. Talking with a firend of mine who is also working on setting up a store (we're actually both working on the same project, just trying to get SOMETHING up and running), he's having the same problem too.

Quite extraordinary that you both are having the exact same problem ...
Can possibly be something wrong with the build you are using to install AC7.
Which build are you using?

Sohaib does the admin login require Ajax?

I think I had to install the Ajax extensions separately on my Win2k3 web server when I built it. Could that be the problem?

Exactly! You have got it right Joe!!
I am sure this is the reason. There is no other reason can I think of.

Brian... I hope you followed the installation instructions at help.ablecommerce.com.
You probably missed AC7 Requirements section

You can download Microsoft AJAX Library 1.0 from here
