Tracking Number

On the Ship Order screen There is a tracking number drop down, which has our provider UPS Online Tool and then a field for the tracking Number.

Ok so I’ve been at this all week and might be getting bug eyed, but where do I configure our UPS online account info so that the tracking number is generated?

The shipping estimate is working fine with good zip codes.

As far as i know I get the number from my ups account when I create the the shipping label . the Configure UPS OnLine® Tools will just get the rates

If I am wrong please let me know

I don’t know if your are wrong, I was expecting, hoping to create the shipping labels from admin.

I think the assumption is you will print labels in your shipping program. UPS is called Worldship I think but I'm not sure. Once you process your shipment in Worldship, a tracking number is given - just copy/paste that into the field when you mark the order shipped in AC7.

You can print packing lists, pull sheets or invoices from AC7 but it can't do labels. Just too many sizes and varieties across all the shipping carriers to support everybody well.
