Top element must be siteMap.

We see this error alot, and getting customer emails saying they can't log in to see their account.

Am I doing something wrong? I've tried deleting, redoing, etc... that Web.sitemap file.

Have you made changes to your web.sitemap file in the root of the site?

I'll figure this out. I think it was just me trying to make an .xml file like I used to have or something. Right now I just uploaded a pristine default file from a fresh install.

Just tested your site - was able to add an item to the cart and proceed to the 2nd page of checkout for shipping method selection.

Is that better than before?

Oh yeah, I fixed it by replacing a brand new Web.sitemap to my site.

It was only broken when trying to look into your Account.

Too bad I can't seem to use the Admin controls to update it with all my products/categories, but I'll dig into it later this week and figure it out.

AC7 builds breadcrumb menus for category and product pages automatically. You don't need to modify web.sitemap.

Or is that not why you're wanting it to include your products/categories?

It simply seems to be broken for me. So I defaulted to the one that shipped pristine with the cart. :) Like I said, it is probably something I messed with, I remember trying to build another sitemap file - sitemap.xml.

Thanks, I think I fixed it last night, things have been real blurry for me in my rush to launch my AC7 site, but it is all working now!

I'll read those posts when I get some time, they look informative. Thank you so much for assisting me in my newbie-ness.
