Questions about Able Commerce 7.0

I have a few questions about your shopping cart.

1. Does your shopping cart integrate with UPS Worldship?

2. Does it allow to mass print invoices/packing slips for shipping?

3. Does it support coupon code discounts?

4. Does your search feature search the entire site or only products?

5. Do you offer a marketing feature for upselling and crossselling?

6. Can we customize the thank you page a customer would see?

7. Can we create landing pages for our products rather than store pages?

8. Do you offer one page checkout?

9. Can a customer checkout without creating an account?

10. Do you offer a feature to have affiliates and can the affiliate percentage be specified per product?

11. Can we block IP addresses so some IPs cannot order?

Answers to remaining questions
1. Does your shopping cart integrate with UPS Worldship?
Yes
4. Does your search feature search the entire site or only products?
It allows you to search everything in the Catalog. The catalog includes categories, products, webpages and links. If you create your site pages using Ablecommerce webpages in the catalog they will be search-able. If you create webpages outside AC they will not be search-able.
6. Can we customize the thank you page a customer would see?
You can customize any page. You can customize almost anything that you can imagine.
7. Can we create landing pages for our products rather than store pages?
Yes. You can have a separate display page for each product.
9. Can a customer checkout without creating an account?
Yes

Hello,

How does it checkout without creating an Account? Is this in RC 1 or RC 2? Are there multiple checkout pages that we can create - all we have now is the one page default checkout - which is somewhat confusing.

Google checkout operates without a user account. We tried to alter the one page checkout to do the same thing for this version. We ran into challenges, questions, and overall we needed more time to consider all the implications.

I created a bug report so this enhancement can be addressed.

You need to create a Google account to use Google Checkout, though. So you really can't checkout without an account.

I should clarify what I meant by that. When Google Checkout interacts with AbleCommerce, there is no user account created on our end. Our database structures and our API do not have any requirement that an account be in place for a checkout to occur.

The obstacles we encountered was in making sure the experience was satisfactory for the customer placing the order; Also we need to make sure we meet the expectations of the merchants asking for this feature.

Mainly, it came down to questions on how the UI would/should behave in certain situations that prevented us from including the feature in our recent release.

Hi

As a follow on to this, is there a way to edit the Packing Slip so that you can send a Coupon Promotion along with it in the box?

Where do you go to do this? We would like to customize a complete form with Returns Information as well as promotions for the next order - all on 1 single piece of paper.
