orders not updated until viewed

I am still getting orders that are listed as "payment pending" until I view the order and then it switchs to "payment completed" after installing RC3. I know it was reported before so just checking before I file another bug report for the same thing.

Any chance they are paypal orders?

Yes..it looks like only paypal orders Logan.

I am also still getting some orders that are E-check's marked as paid. Not all but some so not sure what is up there.

We identified at least three cases where this occurred. They have been resolved in the final release. We have spent countless hours testing PayPal these last couple of weeks - it is a slow and manually intensive process with a large number of test cases to run through.
