finding an attribute in the data?

Hi, I'm totally new to AbleCommerce but I've worked extensively with .NET/C# and SQL for years. I have a client who is trying to run a search based upon a new attribute (he sells shoes and wants to query by size). Basically, how would I pull this information? thanks in advance.

If it is a size like what is in an option dropdown, it would be in the ac_OptionChoices table. or in the Able Option Choice Class- the Name.
