Possible Bug with More Images

Has anyone experienced this problem...
When I have multiple images, and the <more images> link shows up, I can click to bring up the popup and display more than one image. No problem there.
Next, after I close this windows, and open a new product with multiple images, and I can click again to bring up the popup, where I can cycle through the options. Again, no problem... Now, the problem occurs when I close this popup. At this point, everything on the product page completely stops responding, and, it seems, the server locks up. This is both on my local dev environment, and on the public server.
Any ideas for me?

Just an addendum to the post...
It seems that if I close Internet Explorer, I can immediately re-pull up the server, but not until then. Therefore, it seems that the image-popup is causing some type of IE browser error. It works totally fine in Firefox, by the way. Any ideas about this one? I'm using IE 7.0.

I was able to duplicate the problem when I closed the windows using the close button on the popup. It didn't happen when I used the close button on the browser page. It sounds like I bug that needs to be posted. Would you like to do the honors?
