How do categories and sub categories work
I am trying to add sub categories to categories, it does not appear to intuitive in the interface as to how this is done. How do these link in the database? Is there some system for this, I am not able to find much on how this works exactly. Sorry if this has been asked before.

Re: How do categories and sub categories work
Thanks, but this is not obvious in the interface, I still have no idea of how to add a subcategory to a category using the web interface with able. Some instruction or help on that might be a good idea. How far down can you go with sub categories?

Re: How do categories and sub categories work
I thought you were interested in finding out whats going on behind the scenes from a developer perspective. ... may be because I thought catalog management (categories/subcategories/products) was too intuitive ... but may be its not.
