Importing Product Status into Shopping Cart

Post by Albee_J » Thu Jul 31, 2008 11:16 am

Our books are not supplied by one set vendor. We have several vendors. What I need to know is if it is possible to use an xml or .csv file to import inventory to our store.

Also, can we do this to update status of shipments as well? If we can will an email to the customer be triggered on import of the data to the database that the item has been shipped?

DataPort utility provides these XML/CSV import features. Read more about the DataPort utility from here

I still need to know if when updating the status of a book with your utility, will the trigger still send the customer an email stating their order has shipped or will we have to do that manually?
