Buld import facility

Can anyone please provide up to date information on how to import products (from a file) into the database in 7.0? I see some information about a dataport facility - but that appears to be for a beta release.

Although the DataPort is still in beta, but you can use it for products import. I still advice you "be sure to backup your database before playing with DataPort". Not because DataPort can corrupt your store, but because it will take some time to learn how to properly use the DataPort.
