Is there a way to upload UPS tracking numbers with AC 7.0?

Post by draneb » Thu Oct 16, 2008 4:44 am

Hello,

I have been working on the migration from 5.5 to 7.0 over the last few months and just thought of something as I am getting closer to going live with 7.0.

I am currently exporting the UPS tracking numbers at the end of the day in UPS Worldship and using the AbleCommerce Client Tools program to upload them into AC 5.5 which marks them shipped and enters the tracking numbers for me.

I am afraid to ask... Okay, I will.
1) I looked at the dataport program and don't see anything related to UPS.
2) I am assuming the Client Tools program does not work with 7.0.

Is there currently a way to upload tracking numbers into AC 7?

Thank you.

We are planning to release the next version of DataPort by the end of this week. Although we have implemented the UPS worldship tracking import feature for 7.0 and were going to include as part of next release but yesterday we found some inconsistencies due to which we decided to not include this feature in the very next release.

If you kindly help by sharing some data to help us improve the USP worldship data export / import feature. We are seriously lacking some real sample data that we can use to test / fix the feature for 7.0. It will be highly appreciated to share with us some of the AC55 exported files (AC55 to UPS worldship data files) and UPS worldship to AC55 data files.

You can also suggest any improvements or enhancements...

Kindly PM me for my email address if you ready to share some data.
