Top Sellers - Add To Cart Does not work: Solved

I've got my new AC 7 store set up and hope to go live within the next few weeks. I have skinned it but haven't customized the elements that appear in each page, or the controls.

The top sellers features an add to cart image/button. I can click on this and the page refresh but nothing happens. Clicking on the product image or product title, does take me to the product page.

Any advice would be appreciated.

I have checked and its working for me. On which location you placed the control. Is it default or you placed it in some custom location.

It's the default control that appears on the home page in the right hand column. I've tried it in both Firefox and I.E. I have not made any modification to the contorl or the righ thand column, other than reskinning.

Unless it looks like we need to gain access to your server or store and will need to get username/password then the forums is the place to post. Same helpful folks either way, however we like to answer questions in the forums, so the solutions are of benefit to everyone.

Sounds good, I've been pleased with the help I've recieved on the forums and through the support system.

Actually it's anywhere the Ajax post back is used: 'More Items in All Products' also doesn't work correctly. Double check the version if ajax you've installed with the system requirements: Microsoft AJAX Library 1.0

I installed Ajax specifically for AbleCommerce. I downloaded and installed it while making sure I met the system requirements. I installed and am running ASP.NET 2.0 AJAX Extensions v1.0.61025.

I've checked through the help menu in the AbleCommerce back end and it says it's using AjaxControlToolkit: 1.0.10301.0.

Is this incorrect?

No it seems that AJAX version is OK there is something else causing the problem.

Ok. Any suggestions? If you need to poke around the back end let me know, I can open a trouble ticket to get that rolling. If there is more investigation that can be done just on the front end that's fine.

For what it's worth, I used data port to bring my 5.5 store over. I'm not sure if there is some bit of data that is somehow gumming up the works. That is of course a complete guess.

Please let me know if you have additional suggestions.

I've been poking around today trying to find a resolution to this issue. I'm still stuck and could use a hand. Hopefully this is my last showstopper issue. I'm hoping to go live a week from Monday if I can get this worked out (along with a handful of housekeeping items).

Hello All,

Follow up on this, after quite a bit of troubleshooting Ernie established there was a conflict with a web.config file located above the AC7 web.config file. Ernie didn't need the web.config file so it was remove and all is ok.
