Popup Box while proccessing on slow systems

When logging into our Able Commerce site or while checking out, when clicking certain buttons to go to the next page, a white square box comes up in the middle of the screen. Sometimes, I have seen where this box has a round circle, rotating in the middle of it.

I assume that this box is to tell the end user that "your action is in process".

I would like to change this box to have some text in it like "Loading, just a sec..."

Where can I go to change this box?

That is an image in your theme folder --- images/processing.gif

We have some problems on Mac + Safari where the white box shows up, but the "Processing...." in the middle of the box does NOT appear. So it looks very strange for Mac users - some box appears to pop up for no reason.

Is this a bug? Is there something we can do to fix it for Mac users? Anybody have similar experience and found a solution?

I'm working on a site now where the owner is using a Mac and we do have weird things happen. He has trouble editing a variant- it never gets done, but if he closes the site and comes back, it's done. I haven't had the trouble on his sites or others I've tested.

Thank you so much for your help! The fix worked!

I copied the processing.gif from the default theme images folder to our custom theme images folder and the image began showing up.
