Customer check gift certificate balance

Hi,

How can a customer check his own gift certificate balance?

I see how the customer who buys the gift certificate can find it within the order, but after the buyer gives the gift to someone else, how does the recipient check?

Currently only the person who purchased the giftcert can check its balance. If you want to show the person who used the giftcert its balance the perhaps you can put a small code on your receipt page to show this info. Check the following user control about how to check the giftcert balance.
