Product Marketing Feeds: What are some of your favorites?
Product Marketing Feeds: What are some of your favorites?
I know Joe wrote a great review about product marketing feeds a few months ago, but I wanted to see if anyone had any new favorites or ones that didn't work well for them.
Google base and google products is ok, but shopzilla has been my favorite so far. I'm not a fan of Yahoo Shopping due to the $250 minimum investment especially with the lack of control in both budget and time it takes to put up or take down listings.
Any favorites or ones to steer clear of?
Thanks,
Brandon

Anyone use NexTag.com? They just called me today trying to get my business.
I had them send me their file format specs to see if I can include their format in my feed builder module.
Anyone got experience with using them?

We use GoogleBase, Yahoo shopping, Shopzilla, Shopping.com, Smarter, Price Grabber, Become, Pronto, and Netag.
GoogleBase far and away is our best performer, following by (a not close) Shopzilla. I'm pretty sure that shopzilla accounts for as much traffic as the remaining engines combined. We did, however, just turn on Netag recently, so, I'm not sure what that one will be like.

We use GoogleBase, Yahoo shopping, Shopzilla, Shopping.com, Price Grabber, Become, Pronto, and Netag as well. Nextag and googlebase have the best conversion rate for us.

What are you using to shoot out fees to: Smarter, Price Grabber, Become, Pronto, and Nextag.?heinscott wrote:We use GoogleBase, Yahoo shopping, Shopzilla, Shopping.com, Smarter, Price Grabber, Become, Pronto, and Netag.

I've had a great experience with Shopzilla.
So far my experience was very lackluster with Shopping.com. Their system was overcomplicated with limited options. The conversation rate was about half of what Shopzilla provided.
I'm always up for trying more though. Let me know how you feed those.

I was surprised to read how well you guys do with Google Base. I get quite the large amount of hits, but our conversation rate is sub 1%. My other campaigns area minimum 3%+.
Obviously Google Base is free so any conversion is great. I'm just looking on ideas to get ours up higher.
