I have a kitted item that has a product in it that has variants. I have it marked to track variants and also allow backorder. There is one of the variants that are in stock but it is still showing out of stock. What am I doing wrong?

Did you marked variant available by ticking the available checkbox.

Yes. They are all marked available.

On my inventory sheet it list the kit and the product in the kit, and it is destocking from both items??

I am still unable to reproduce the case. What is your AbleCommerce version? You will found this information under Admin -> Help -> About AbleCommerce from admin menu.
