Any way to add or manage user addresses in Admin?

Post by ZLA » Fri Jun 12, 2009 2:29 pm

I was thinking of adding some store address information to ac_Addresses so admin can change it if necessary. But it looks like you can only manage users in admin, not addresses. This is not a user involved in an order so order management won't do anything. I'm looking more for some basic contact management access to addresses.

I guess I can always rely on the DataPort for that data but it's a shame it isn't in the Admin section.

Are you needing to manage something other than the billing address? That one is displayed and editable in the admin under manage users click a user.

Doh!

Since the Add user function only showed the minimum number of required fields, I didn't even try to edit a user where all the address info resides. Thanks Judy.

Perhaps I can make it up with something else I just posted - How to add attachments to email templates (manual send) viewtopic.php?f=42&t=6003&p=48362&hilit ... ate#p48362

Yep, I already saw that email template post and snagged the code for OneNote, where I store all the snippets.
