Edit Billing address

Post by windsurfer » Thu Jul 09, 2009 11:00 am

Not sure if i'm the right section but i am using the demo version 7.0.34 I set the home page so that the address book shows on the right bar. Now when i go to my localhost the Edit Billing Address dialog box pops up and there is no way of closing this box. As a matter of fact i have seen this box pop up before and if you don't want to change or even enter a billing address there is no way to close this pop up. Perhaps i am doing somthing wrong here but when i go to my local host that pop up will show everytime. I have tried to go to http://localhost/ContactUs.aspx and it will display that page okay but then when i go to my home page the Edit Billing Address dialog box pops up and can't get rid of it again. I have searched the forum but haven't seen anything on this unless i missed it.

Could you please provide details like the name of control being used in side bar, scriptlet name and a screen capture of problem. I am trying to reproduce it but seems I am missing some step.

Hi Mazhar
On the home page log in and change the rightside bar to " Address Book Sidebar "
This will show the address bar on the right and will probably have your name and address in it. Now if i were to select "logout" I am back to being a regular customer and there will be no name or address in the sidebar but that edit window will pop up as shown below. Problem now is that if you were to go localhost/default.aspx (in my case anyway) the home page will come up and so does the popup, so you would have to access a different page first so you can log in and edit the home page again.
Actually i have attached the screenshot.
