We sell downloadable files in our store. We want them to be immediately accessible to the purchaser, rather than have someone on our end have to approve the payment. However, if credit card authorization fails, we DO NOT want the links to show as downloadable on the receipt or digital goods page. Is there a way to tell the receipt page that if a credit card payment is not authorized, the downloadle files DO NOT show until they pay in full?
Thanks for your help.

Re: Downloadable Files and CC Authorization
There is an activation option on a digital good for activating on full payment, instead of order placed or manually.

Re: Downloadable Files and CC Authorization
Our issue is that many of our members pay by P.O. We allow this and give them the purchased content immediately. If we set the downloadable files to activate on payment, our members paying with P.Os will have to wait for us to authorize their purchase.
Re: Downloadable Files and CC Authorization
Not sure if this option is available in the most recent release, but it would be neat if you could have visibility of a product be based upon the Group a user belongs to. If this was possible, the scenario in this discussion could be solved by having two identical products on the site. One for normal customers where payment is needed in full before the activiation is made on the download. The other would be for P.O. customers where the download would happen immediately. We're still running 10865 and it doesn't seem to be configurable this way. (Don't worry, we'll be upgrading when our developer gets back from vacation!)
I didn't check the feature requests forum yet, so that may be in the list. Just my two cents!
