Is Store Url Setting Cached?

Under Admin/Configure Store, how quickly does changin the Store URL value take place? I changed it but the site still seems to reference the base path the license was designed for.

Changing the store URL in the configuration doesn't alter what domain the store is licensed for. Able licensing will always redirect to the licensed domain(s) regardless of the store URL setting.

You will need a new AC7 license keycode to change the domain under which the storefront operates.
