printing multiple orders

Post by shabbyfabrics » Fri Sep 25, 2009 2:28 pm

we are in the final stages of developing a new site with AC 7.03.

We receive hundreds of orders a week - is it possible to print multiple orders without having to manually open each one and set to print?

Also - to track which orders have been printed out - are there any suggestions? There does not seem to be a drop down status for order printed - is a workaround to manually change the status of an order from order paid to shipment pending when an order is shipped?

You can print more than one at a time by checking the ones you want to print in the Manage orders page. The checkbox in the header on the column with checkboxes will select all the visible orders.

You can create your own custom order status(es) via the Configure, Order Statuses menu option.

What many people do is create a series of order statuses that represent the "flow" for the orders. Payment Pending, In Fullfillment, At Warehouse, Printed Not Shipped, Packing, Shipped etc.

I have about 14 order statuses in my Solunar.com site to keep track of everything from waiting on customer response to refunds pending to refunds issued etc. It's a very handy design.
