We use Able Commerce for our store, but we feed product information from the database into pages on our site so we can control the design and manage within our CMS. We don't use the product pages in the commerce folder. Once the person selects Add to Cart from our site, then they go through the Able Commerce checkout window in an iFRAME.
We do not want any of the Able Commerce pages in the /Commerce folder to show in search results for our site search or external search engines. We've set the robot.txt in the root of the Able Commerce folder to
User-Agent: *
Disallow: /
We've also excluded the our site/Commerce from the Google Mini search. But regardless, the /commerce product pages show up.
Does anyone know if there is something we are missing? Do you have any recommendations?
