The software is identical. You just get more of it. There is an additional license load balancing or another store. You also get extra development licenses.

What can you tell us about the load balancing? How much performance increase could the typical site see and roughly how many AC sites are using it?

I've seen very little traffic about the enterprise edition. We're always looking for better performance. Any discounts for existing customers??? <wink> <wink> <nudge> <nudge>

A load balancing solution could increase site performance if a site is under heavy load (200-300 > concurrent visitors) and the traffic need to be distributed between several servers.

For low traffic sites (less than 1TB/Month) running in a single web server configuration Disk I/O performance is the key performance factor (CPU Speed and RAM have less impact on performance).
If you are looking for site performance increase I would recommend fast SCSI 15K disks in RAID 10 array configuration on both Web and MSSQL servers.
