Shipping based on the product

We want to charge $10 shipping per product for example a PC.
If the product for example is screws we charge $4 Shipping.
Is there a way to attach the shipping to a product?

Shipping methods can be assigned to particular warehouses. You can define a certain warehouse for products with $10 shipping charge items and a warehouse for $4 shipping charge items. Assign the warehouses to the products accordingly.

Will that make a mess if you end up sending them both as one shipment?

You can't end-up sending them both as one shipment. Products that are shipped from different warehouses are always put in separate shipments.
