Has anyone successfully been able to run version 7.0 on IIS 7.5? Is it even possible to make it work? I've tried to do it here: http://184.168.103.198/ but just get a generic internal server 500 error and nothing shows in the server logs or anything so at a loss as to how to troubleshoot the problem. Any help is appreciated. Build information below:

7.0 is way old, you may want to try setting your AppPool to classic instead of integrated mode. If you can get more info on the error such as the windows event log info it may help us help you.
Any reason you're not using 7.0.7, the latest?

Trying to get the client to pay for the upgrade.
Also nothing shows in the windows event log. I am running in classic, not integrated.

Make sure you follow the documentation carefully including making sure all the permissions are set correctly. It's hard to help with such a generic error.

Thanks. That's the problem I'm having as well since I can't find any good error information. I don't have anything else on the server this is on. Would you be able to look if I sent you the remote desktop login?

No, I'm afraid not. Sorry. You may be able to hire one of the Able partners such as Judy to help you get going though. Not sure if she does that kind of work.

No problem. I actually finally figured it out. It was plesk causing an issue. The post here: http://forum.parallels.com/showthread.php?t=95091 helped solve it.
Thanks.
