PayPal payments

Recently our site stopped automatically processing PayPal payments so now it requires a manually status change in Able to change it from Payment Pending to Shipment Pending. Anyone know what changed?

Hi there,

This is very strange. Can you provide a little more info please?

1 - Version and build of AbleCommerce, along with the type of Paypal implementation (standard IPN or Express/CC)

2 - Transaction message from payment screen in order (a paid order automatically switches to shipment pending)

3 - payment mode? authorization only, or auth/capture

4 - status of payment in your Paypal merchant account? Is the transaction there to process?

5 - turn on debug through the AC Paypal config page and test a transaction. What happens? Check the Paypal log file in \app_data\logs\

6 - has anything changed on your end? like a recent upgrade

7 - do ALL Paypal orders fail? If not, then check the addresses to see if it is international
