Kit DropDowns (Safari 5.1 Mac only)

Does anyone else have a problem with the product details page on Safari 5.1 (Mac only, not Windows)? My client says that when he clicks on the kit option dropdown (to show the options, before actually selecting one), that the page refreshes and he cannot select one.

Can anyone confirm? I don't have access to a Mac computer to check, but I have no problem when doing so with my Windows version of 5.1, and he's checked on multiple Macs -- all experience this. On my Windows machine, I even switched the User Agent to Safari 5.1 for Mac, and I didn't experience this. We've had to resort to browser-checking and posting a javascript Alert for such users. Naturally, we can't keep doing this.

P.S. We're still running 7.0.6.
