Editing all instances of a kit?

Hello,
I have always used kits to offer customers options for add-ons for certain products. Every eligible item gets the same options. Every time that I added a new product that could take add-ons, I would attach the existing kit to it. This has worked fine for a while, but now I would like to change the options. It looks like to do this, I would have to go into every single product and change its kit. Is there a way to change the options for all the kits at once? All the kits are identical.

If the kit is a shared kit and not a branched kit( different kits), the change should appear in all places that use the kit. If you are leery of doing it, try doing something simple like changing the name of a kit product and see if it reflects in all products that use that kit.
