Bundle/Kit - duplicate parts showing as 1 line item in cart

I've got a 7.0.7 store with some "variety pack" bundles. Each part in the kit is the same (kit part 1) but they choose variants for it. If they want, all the items in the bundle can be the same.

4 count variety pack (kit)
- kit part 1 (blue)
- kit part 1 (green)
- kit part 1 (green)
- kit part 1 (green)

The problem is when they add the above to their cart it shows like this, removing any duplicate kit parts from the listing:
4 count variety pack (kit)
- kit part 1 (blue)
- kit part 1 (green)

It shows up fine on the invoice, but we need to show all the items listed out in the cart so the customer can see what pieces they're getting. Any ideas?

So only the basket page is wrong? The checkout page, receipt page, view-order page (admin) and invoice (admin) are all showing the correct line items?
